One of my favorite things about the Christmas season is all the delicious holiday treats. If you’ve been around here for a bit, you may already know how much we love Christmas cookies in our home. But, as much as I enjoy all the holiday baking, I also like finding easy Christmas treats that don’t require a long list of ingredients and hours of prep time. And, honestly if they are no-bake, it’s even better.
Especially, when I need a quick, last-minute dessert for a holiday party or to add to a cookie tray or holiday treat bag for sharing. So, this year I’ve been trying some super easy holiday treats (my family couldn’t be happier!), which I will be sharing over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas.
The first treat I will be sharing is these White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzel Bites. They are made with crunchy pretzels, creamy white chocolate, and candy cane sprinkles for a festive no-bake dessert that’s perfect to make with your kids this holiday season.

White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels

Ingredients for White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzel Bites
These white chocolate peppermint pretzels are one of the easiest holiday treats to make when you need something festive without spending hours in the kitchen. They would be perfect for Christmas dessert trays, holiday snack boards, or a homemade Christmas food gift idea.
You will need:
- mini pretzel twists
- white chocolate chips
- McCormick Candy Cane Finishing Sugar
How to Make These Christmas Peppermint Pretzels
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
- Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until the white chocolate is smooth.
- Dip each pretzel in the white chocolate, allowing any excess to drip back into the bowl.
- Place the dipped pretzels on the baking sheet with wax paper.
- Sprinkle with the candy cane sprinkles.
- Allow to set until the chocolate is completely firm
Helpful Tips
- Make sure to stir the white chocolate every 30 seconds as it’s cooking in the microwave so it doesn’t overcook.
- Add the peppermint sprinkles immediately after the pretzels are dipped in the white chocolate so the sprinkles stick before the chocolate hardens.
- Let any excess chocolate drip off after dipping in the pretzels. You can also gently tap it against the side of the bowl.
- Allow the chocolate to set up completely before transferring to a storage container.
Variations
- Use dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate instead of white chocolate.
- Drizzle with melted milk chocolate or dark chocolate instead of sprinkling with peppermint.
- Add some Christmas sprinkles to the white chocolate pretzels to make your holiday treats extra festive.
Storage
- Store the peppermint pretzel bites in an airtight container for up to a week. These Christmas treats are perfect to make ahead a few days before Christmas for a fun holiday snack for cookie exchanges or Christmas parties.
