Whether it’s the dazzling firework displays, or all the delicious food, celebrating Independence Day is one of the best parts of summer. Between the picnics and summer salads to the tasty grilling recipes and side dishes, food plays a huge part in this patriotic holiday.

Personally, my very favorite part of the 4th of July is all the decadent desserts. You can’t go wrong with any dessert in my opinion but no-bake desserts as well as red, white, and blue desserts made with strawberries and blueberries are the perfect way to celebrate this festive occasion.

Although we love making our traditional white cake with cool whip frosting and berries for dessert, I thought it might be fun to share some other easy 4th of July dessert recipes in case you are needing a little inspiration to make your holiday BBQ more festive. You will find red, white, and blue desserts that include cupcakes, popsicles, cookies, fruit salads, and more.
