Planning your first or (5th) trip to Walt Disney World is always so exciting. But, it can also be stressful if you are an over-planner like me. You want your trip to be perfect for everyone in your family and you’ve spent time researching everything from touring plans to packing lists.
Many times, the one thing that often is overlooked is your park bag and the essentials that you need on those long, hot, and (sometimes rainy days) in the park. That is why I thought I would share what I will be packing in my park bag on our next Walt Disney World vacation.
Being prepared will not only make your trip more enjoyable but will save you money since these items are much more expensive to purchase in the parks.
Of course, before you start assembling your Disney park bag essentials, you need the perfect bag first. This can be either a backpack, drawstring backpack, crossbody bag, or sling bag.
You will be more comfortable if you find what works for you. I prefer crossbody or sling bags because they are smaller and everything is easily within reach. But, if you have young children or going to be the person who is carrying everything for your family then a backpack would probably work better so you can pack extra snacks as well as the items below.
