One of my favorite holiday memories as a child was visiting my grandmother’s house at Christmas time. She loved everything about Christmas which was evident from her two large Christmas trees filled with ornaments, garland, lights, and tinsel.

But what made the holiday even more special was the dishes of Christmas candy that she had lovingly put out for everyone to enjoy—dishes full of old-fashioned hard candies, ribbon candy, and peanut brittle.

As a child, going to my grandmother’s house during the holiday season and seeing how magical she made it for everyone who visited, is something I will always remember.

This is why Christmas traditions have always been so important to me. Whether we are baking our family favorite Christmas cookies, watching Christmas movies with hot cocoa, or trying a new holiday treat recipe, like these homemade Christmas candy recipes, I want to make the holiday season just as magical for my children.

So, if you are looking to start some new Christmas traditions with your family, I’ve gathered some of the best homemade Christmas candy recipes. You can make these fun and festive sweet treats with your kids to give as homemade gifts for Christmas.  Plus, they are great for holiday parties, or adding a festive dessert to your holiday table.
