Thanksgiving dinner is a meal that I look forward to all year. But, getting everything on the table at the same time can be challenging. Between the turkey, the side dishes, appetizers, and desserts there is always something competing for space in the oven or needs room on the stovetop.
Which is why I’m always looking for ways to make the day a little easier and less stressful without sacrificing all the delicious Thanksgiving recipes we love. A few years ago, I started making sweet potatoes in the crockpot and it quickly became one of my favorite ways to prepare them. It freed up oven space and while they were cooking it allowed me to work on the rest of our Thanksgiving feast.
This year, I thought I would start looking for even more ways to take advantage of my slow cooker during the holiday season. So, I put together this list of the best crockpot Thanksgiving recipes. You will find everything from breakfast ideas, appetizers, main dishes, side dishes and desserts. If you are lucky enough to have more than one slow cooker, you can make several dishes at once! But even having one crockpot can be a big help when you are trying to get everything on the table at the same time.
