How to Create a List of Family Favorite Meals

Creating a list of the meals that you know that your family enjoys makes meal planning a breeze. When I plan out my meals, I will usually start with giving each day of the week a theme such as Taco Tuesdays or Pizza Fridays.

Then I will look through our list of family favorite meals and choose one that goes with the category for that day. My family loves chicken enchiladas, so I would add it to Tuesday and so on.

To get started, make a list of all of the recipes that you know your family loves. You can pull out old cookbooks or recipe cards and, go through your Pinterest boards to find your go-to recipes.

Of course, this is just a helpful guide. Make sure to leave room on your meal plan for new recipes to try. If your family enjoys them, don’t forget to add them to the list. I know I’m constantly adding new recipes all the time.

Quick Tip: Use a binder or recipe tin to store all your favorite recipes so they are quick to access when you want them. I have a Happy Planner recipe organizer like this, to help me keep track of all of our favorite recipes.
