Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it fuels our bodies, providing us with energy and allowing us to be more productive. However, although we may realize how important it is for us, it can sometimes be a challenge fitting it into our busy schedule.
I will admit that for many years, I skipped breakfast and didn’t make it a priority until I needed to change my diet for health reasons. So, I started looking for some simple make-ahead breakfast ideas, as well as some super quick breakfast recipes I could whip up fast on busy mornings.
And, while my go-to breakfasts are usually breakfast crunchwraps and overnight oats. I also love making breakfast sandwiches, like avocado toast with scrambled eggs or an easy bagel, egg, and cheese sandwich.
So, I decided to gather up some quick and delicious breakfast sandwich ideas that are perfect to enjoy at home on a relaxing weekend, or if you are rushing out the door on a busy weekday. The best part is that many of these sandwiches are perfect for meal prepping, so you can have a savory, protein-packed breakfast waiting for you every morning to enjoy.
